Both teams are coming off impressive performances and there’s plenty on the line here in a World Cup semifinal rematch. The Three Lions were defeated on match day one against Spain, but are unbeaten in their last two Nations League games, following a goalless stalemate with the Croats and a 3-2 victory against the

The Croats triumphed 3-2 against Spain on Thursday to keep their Nations League hopes alive and a victory for the Blazers, who are level on points with England, would mean they would secure top spot.

It’s a winner takes all encounter, with the losing side facing relegation into League B.  Check out 90min’s preview for Sunday’s encounter below.

Joe Gomez didn’t feature in the Three Lions’ victory against the USA as a result of a minor injury, but should be fit for the crucial encounter.

Ivan Rakitić is set to miss the encounter after picking up a hamstring injury in the match against Spain.

Rakitić’s teammate Josip Pivarić missed the victory against the Spaniards through injury, while his replacement Tin Jedvaj netted a brace and should deputise again on Sunday.

England have the better record going into Sunday’s match. They have won four of their nine matches in all competitions, with the Vatreni triumphing on three occasions.

Both sides have won three competitive matches each against each other, the most recent victory for either side came in the World Cup semi-finals, when the Croats defeated England 2-1 in extra time.

There have also been two draws between the two sides (both goalless), including the first Nations League encounter between the two sides) and a 1996 international friendly.

Gareth Southgate’s men are unbeaten in three matches in all competitions since their defeat on match day one to Spain, keeping two clean sheets in the process, including a 1-0 victory against Switzerland and the draw with the Croatians.

Meanwhile, the Croats have won just twice since the victory against England at the World Cup. They defeated Jordan 2-1 in an international friendly back in October, before Thursday’s victory against Spain.

Here’s how each team has performed in their last five fixtures:

England come into the game on the back of an impressive win against the United States and should have enough confidence to get a result against Croatia.

The Croats managed to get a good result against the Spaniards and could condemn the Three Lions to relegation with a win at Wembley. However, they have lost a few of their star players from the World Cup – including keeper Danijel Subašić, Vedran Ćorluka and Mario Mandžukić, who all retired after the competition, and the side haven’t looked the same since.

Despite Croatia going unbeaten in their last two games against the Three Lions, neither side has managed to go more than two games without defeat to the other since the turn of the century, which serves Southgate’s side with a good omen.

Vikings vs Bears

Vikings vs Bears : Welcome to Week 11 of the fantasy football season, where good matchups are hard to find and there are plenty of potential busts galore. With most of the league’s bottom-barrel teams on bye this week, there just aren’t as many streamers and sleepers to exploit at any position.

Vikings vs Bears Live

That means that there will be a lot more busts in our fantasy football rankings (looking at you, Vikings and Bears), and it could be a lower scoring fantasy week in general. But no matter what, avoiding busts is critical, so that will make for some tough start ’em, sit ’em decisions as fantasy owners try to sift through the minimal separation between top players in the fantasy rankings. The crunch might cause you to gamble on someone “new” like Brandon Marshall (Update: Marshall isn’t expected to be active for the Saints) or someone “old” like Jordan Howard, but should you?

Last week, our busts were fairly accurate. All of our quarterbacks — Matthew Stafford, Andy Dalton, and Tom Brady — didn’t do much in blowout losses. Alshon Jeffery and Marquise Goodwin struggled against tougher prime-time matchups at the receiver position. And even our defenses, the Rams, Patriots, and Panthers, all busted out entirely. We hit pretty well on those, so we’ll try to continue our success in Week 11.

Take a look at the Week 11 Sunday Night Football game between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears through the eyes of the enemy.

Finally, Week 11 of the 2018 NFL season has arrived and the Minnesota Vikings are set to take on one of their toughest tests of the year in the Chicago Bears in hostile territory at Soldier Field in Illinois.

The winner of this game will claim the top spot in the NFC North and have a clear advantage in winning the division with only six weeks left in the season, a situation that would be great for the Vikings.

While Vikings fans have been listening and reading a lot on the Minnesota side of things, sometimes it is great to get a look at the game through another set of eyes, and thankfully we were able to do that.

The Viking Age exchanged five questions with FanSided’s Chicago Bears site Bear Goggles On and had site expert Mike Burzawa share his thoughts on the Bears and how they will match up against the Vikings.

First, let’s take a look at the Chicago quarterback!

Eagles vs Saints

Eagles vs Saints : The streaking Saints aim for their ninth straight win when they host the defending Super Bowl-champion Eagles on Sunday. It’s a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. New Orleans looks unstoppable right now, having scored the ninth-most points in NFL history through nine games (331). They lit up the scoreboard for 45 and 51 points the last two weeks.

At 4-5, the Eagles face a must-win scenario if they hope to defend their crown, so they’ll be highly motivated. Sportsbooks list New Orleans as a 7.5-point favorite in the latest Eagles vs. Saints odds after the line moved as high as nine. The Over-Under, or total number of points Vegas thinks will be scored, is 56, up from an open of 54. Before you make any Eagles vs. Saints picks, listen to what Larry Hartstein has to say.

Eagles vs Saints Livestream Free

SportsLine’s senior analyst and resident Saints expert is a stunning 15-5 in his last 20 picks involving the Saints after easily nailing New Orleans (-5) over Cincinnati last week. “A.J. Green’s absence, combined with the Bengals’ horrific defense, means I’m on the Saints to cover their seventh straight overall and improve to 20-7 ATS in their last 27 road games. Lay it,” urged Hartstein. The result: Saints 51, Bengals 14 — anyone who listed to him didn’t even break a sweat.

Moreover, Hartstein is a ridiculous 33-14 on all NFL point-spread picks this season. Anyone who has followed him is way, way up. Now, he has pounced on what he calls a mistake in the Eagles-Saints spread. He’s sharing his pick over at SportsLine.

Hartstein knows that New Orleans is averaging 37.3 points at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, which would be the fifth-most in NFL history at home. Quarterback Drew Brees is completing 77.3 percent of his throws and has accounted for 24 touchdowns against only one turnover.

With an array of weapons including wideout Michael Thomas and running backs Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram, Brees knows this is his golden chance for a second Super Bowl ring.

But just because the Saints have covered seven straight games doesn’t mean they’ll do it again against a desperate team with a championship pedigree.

Philly has not been an underdog all season, an indication of their prodigious talent. And the Eagles are 7-3 against the spread following a straight-up loss.

They’ll look to slow down Brees with a proud defense that ranks sixth in points allowed (20.3 per game). If the game turns into a shootout, quarterback Carson Wentz has shown he can keep up. He’s thrown 14 touchdowns against two interceptions over his last six outings and averages 307 passing yards per game this season. Zach Ertz leads all tight ends with 789 receiving yards and is coming off a monster performance in which he torched the Cowboys for 14 grabs, 145 yards and two touchdowns.

We can tell you Hartstein is leaning Over, but his much stronger play is against the spread. He says a strong x-factor makes one side of the spread a must-back. He’s sharing what it is, and who to back, only at SportsLine.

So which side of the Eagles vs. Saints spread should you back? And what strong x-factor causes one side of the spread hit hard? Visit SportsLine now to see which side you need to be all over, all from the seasoned expert who’s on a 15-5 heater on Saints’ picks.

Belgium will be aiming to take control of their UEFA Nations League group when Switzerland visit the Stade Roi Baudouin on Friday.

Roberto Martinez’s men won their opening match 3-0 away to Iceland, but are still second as their guests thrashed the same opposition 6-0 in their first group game.

Switzerland vs Belgium Live Football Game Free Full Match

Having lost just once in 28 fixtures, they are 2/5 (1.40) favourites with 888Sport to leapfrog them into first place by coming out on top in Brussels.

The Nati followed up that emphatic opening win with a 1-0 friendly defeat away to England, but are priced at 13/2 (7.50) to bounce back with a shock victory here.

Just one of the previous seven encounters between this pair has resulted in a draw, but there are odds of 7/2 (4.50) available on them cancelling each other out in this one.

With Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen, Kevin De Bruyne and Adnan Januzaj all injured, Martinez has recalled Jason Denayer, Christian Kabasele and Dennis Praet, as well as giving Brandon Mecehel a first call-up.

Kevin Mbabu, Johan Djourou and Admir Mehmedi are all absent through injury for Vladimir Petkovic, who has called up uncapped Young Boys midfielder Christian Fassnacht.

As a side hardly renowned for attacking football, it was a surprise to see Switzerland put six goals past Iceland in their Nations League opener.

Petkovic’s men were knocked out of the World Cup in a drab 1-0 defeat to Sweden in their previous game, and were subsequently beaten 1-0 by England in a similarly uninspiring friendly encounter just three days after demolishing Iceland.

A similar display seems likely against Les Diables Rouges, who have won three consecutive games without conceding a goal and kept clean sheets in six of their last eight matches on home turf.

All in all, odds of 7/5 (2.40) are well worth backing on a classy Belgium winning to nil in a straightforward victory over Switzerland.

England vs Croatia

England vs Croatia : In July, England and Croatia met in Moscow with a 2018 FIFA World Cupfinal spot on the line. On Sunday they meet again, and this time, the winner will claim a place in the UEFA Nations League final four.

Gareth Southgate’s men will be hoping they are the team celebrating come the final whistle at Wembley Stadium, having lost 2-1 to Croatia after extra time at the Luzhniki Stadium.

Adding a further frisson, defeat on Sunday for England or Croatia would mean relegation to League B of the Nations League.

Spain will be hoping for a draw at Wembley, a result that would see La Roja advance to the finals as Group A4 winners.

However, a stalemate would mean relegation for one of England or Croatia. If it is a scoreless draw, England survive.

Both sides will surely be playing to win after Croatia’s last-gasp victory over Spain on Thursday effectively turned Sunday’s match into a Nations League quarter-final.

The widespread hope will be that the match provides more entertainment than the reverse fixture back in October, when the two teams played out a 0-0 draw behind closed doors in Rijeka. The intensity should be higher, not least because Wembley will be packed to the rafters.

England’s home advantage could prove telling, and it is one of the key reasons they are favourites with the bookies.

Another potential difference-maker is the absence of Ivan Rakitic, Croatia and Barcelona’s superb central midfielder, who has been ruled out through injury:View image on Twitter

The Three Lions go into the clash on the back of successive victories against Spain and the United States.

Croatia have also won their past two matches, a 2-1 friendly defeat of Jordan preceding their impressive 3-2 win against Spain.

As was evident at the World Cup, when Croatia came from behind to beat England in extra time, the two sides are well matched.

Given what is at stake, it is likely to be a cagey occasion at Wembley, especially in the opening minutes. And it is the early phases that could make the difference. If Croatia come out of the blocks fast, they may be able to silence the home crowd, which could be crucial.

But if England go ahead early, it will be difficult for the visitors to repeat the trick they pulled off in Russia of turning the match around.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens : Baltimore have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will square off against Cincinnati at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. Baltimore have a defense that allows only 17.78 points per game, so Baltimore’s offense will have their work cut out for them. Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens Live.

The last time they met, Baltimore were the 26-14 winner over Pittsburgh. This time around? They had no such luck. Baltimore took a 16-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pittsburgh. Baltimore can’t seem to catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens Live

Meanwhile, it was a contest Cincinnati are hoping to forget as they lost a 14-51 blowout to New Orleans last week. Cincinnati were in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 7-35.With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We’ll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.

The Baltimore Ravens seem happy to let fans, analysts and the Cincinnati Bengals wonder who’ll start at quarterback in Sunday’s pivotal game. We don’t know if Joe Flacco will return from a hip injury, if Lamar Jackson will make his first career start or if 2012 Offensive Rookie of the Year Robert Griffin III will get his shot to once again lead an NFL offense.

What we do know is this: Jackson, the No. 32 overall pick in April’s draft, was on the practice field Friday one day after sitting out with an illness. Meanwhile, Flacco was absent and hasn’t practiced all week.Coach John Harbaugh said Flacco, if cleared physically, can play well without practicing in the run up to a game, but his injury has generated curiosity.

Jackson said earlier this week he was prepared to start if the team turned to him, and teammates have offered support for the rookie. Griffin, for his part, also said he’ll be ready to step behind center if need be — and he was happy to handle all of the quarterbacking repetitions in Thursday’s practice.

Jackson joined Griffin on the field Friday and showed no signs of sluggishness. During the portion of practice open to media, the 2016 Heisman Trophy winner flung passes to teammates during warmups and tooled around with coaches. The Bengals may have taken a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6, but a slow start by the Steelers allows Cincy to keep control of the AFC North. A half game up of the Baltimore Ravens and the Steelers, the Bengals can grow their lead in Week 7.

Pittsburgh being on a bye helps Cincy. They’re able to take a full game lead on the Steelers and depending on the Ravens outcome, a full game overall in the division. With the AFC North being as competitive as it is this season, it’ll be important to head into the second half with the lead.

Cincinnati will try and outplay the Chiefs incredible offense. Patrick Mahomes has changed the culture in Kansas City, and right now, few teams can beat them. The Bengals offense is no joke, though, and when healthy, which they are, they can certainly compete.

TCU vs Baylor

TCU vs Baylor : Nov. 15–TCU finds itself in a must-win situation Saturday. If the Frogs won’t to keep their bowl dreams alive, they have to knock off the Baylor Bears in Waco. But TCU coach Gary Patterson isn’t buying into the “must-win” cliché for his team that sits at 4-6.

TCU vs Baylor Livestream Free

The TCU Horned Frogs take on the Baylor Bears on Saturday, Nov. 17.

Baylor sits one seat above TCU in the Big 12 at 5-5 overall and 3-4 in conference contests. TCU sits at 4-6 overall but just 2-5 in Big 12 play. The Bears are still one win away from securing bowl eligibility after falling to Iowa State last Saturday, but if they can’t overcome the Horned Frogs this weekend, they’ll have to try and take Texas Tech on the road to secure that sixth win.

TCU fell to West Virginia last weekend, 47-10. Quarterback Michael Collins completed 22-of-37 for 229 yards and one touchdown but the Frogs couldn’t gain enough offensive momentum to keep up with Will Grier’s Mountaineers.

Michigan State vs Nebraska

Michigan State vs Nebraska :Michigan State football heads into the final away game of the season against Nebraska with its tail between its legs. Can things change? The last time Michigan State and Nebraska faced off, the Spartans were leaving Lincoln with a sour taste in their mouths. They had just watched their undefeated season, and potentially even their playoff hopes, cut short thanks to a controversial last-minute touchdown by the Cornhuskers.

Michigan State vs Nebraska Live

Date: Saturday, Nov. 17

Nebraska won the game, but Michigan State still managed to find a way to the College Football Playoff. Michigan State has won in Lincoln once before (2013) and it looks to repeat that effort in 2018 despite the tough season it has experienced thus far.

The Cornhuskers, too, have had a rough year, winning just three games in Scott Frost’s first 10 games as the head coach. They’ve won three out of four, but those have come against a struggling Minnesota team, Bethune-Cookman and lackluster Illinois. Michigan State would be Frost’s first signature win as head coach.

Adrian Martinez leads the Cornhuskers as a true freshman quarterback with plenty of talent while the Spartans would go with a healthy Brian Lewerke, if that was truly the case. Instead, it may be another shuffle back-and-forth between the usual starter and Rocky Lombardi. Maybe it’s time to shut Lewerke down for the year and make sure his shoulder doesn’t get any worse.

Here’s how you can watch Saturday’s big game:

Michigan State’s biggest issue on offense is the passing game. Luckily, Nebraska’s pass defense has been nothing short of mediocre this season and the Spartans could actually have a shot to get a quarterback some confidence heading into the final week of the regular season. Don’t settle for just running with Connor Heyward and La’Darius Jefferson, let the quarterbacks air it out against this porous secondary.

Defensively, the Spartans must find a way to slow down the aerial attack of Adrian Martinez and those talented receivers. If the secondary can continue its upward trend and hold Martinez to under 200 passing yards, there’s a good chance this one will go the Spartans’ way. Devine Ozigbo is having a breakout year in the backfield, but no one is worried about Michigan State’s run defense.

I’m having a tough time deciding what the outcome of this one will be. No, I don’t think the Cornhuskers are the better team. I actually think if Lewerke was healthy, this could be a two-touchdown victory, minimum. However, the quarterback situation is a mess — as is the offense. Michigan State will do enough defensively to halt any momentum the Cornhuskers gain at home and a key interception late in the game by Justin Layne will be the difference.

The Gophers are 30- 14-3 all-time at home against the Wildcats and have won two straight at TCF Bank Stadium against Northwestern (won 29-12 in 2016 and 24-17 in 2014). Northwestern won last year’s meeting, as they tripped up the Gophers in Evanston, Ill.

3. Minnesota leads the Big Ten and ranks No. 11 in the nation in yards per completion at 14.59. Minnesota has 25 receptions of at least 25 yards and receivers Tyler Johnson (12), Rashod Bateman (7), Chris Autman-Bell (4) and Seth Green (1) all have at least one catch of more than 25 yards. Last year, Minnesota had 14 total receptions of 25 yards or more in 12 games. Minnesota had 18 receptions of 25 yards or more in 13 games in 2016 and 25 in 13 games in 2015. Bateman’s 86-yard catch at Illinois is the team’s longest of the year and longest since 2003 (school record 96 yards, Asad Abdul-Khaliq to Jared Ellerson at Northwestern). Minnesota had five plays (two pass, three rushes) of 30+ yards against Purdue. Minnesota’s defense kept Purdue’s potent offense in check, as the Boilers’ longest play on offense was 17 yards. Purdue was 0-for-12 on third down and had negative 2 rushing yards with 10 minutes left in the game (ended game with 88 rushing yards).

4. Minnesota has two 30-plus point Big Ten wins in its last 10 league games under Coach Fleck, as it beat Nebraska by 33 in 2017 and Purdue by 31 in 2018. Prior to Fleck, Minnesota had two 30-point Big Ten wins in its previous 100 conference games from Oct. 30, 2004 to Nov. 26, 2015, as it beat Indiana by 37 in 2006 and Iowa by 37 in 2014. Minnesota’s 38-point margin of victory (won 48-10) this year against New Mexico State was its largest ever at TCF Bank Stadium. Minnesota had previously beaten Iowa (2014) and New Hampshire (2012) by 37 points at TCF Bank Stadium. The 38-point win was Minnesota’s largest victory margin since 2006 (beat Temple 62-0).

5. The Gophers have 112 players on the roster and 58 of those players – or 51.7 percent – are freshmen. That’s the highest number in the nation. Virginia is next at 50 percent and is followed by Wake Forest (49.1 percent) and UCF (48.03 percent). The Gophers have 78 underclassmen (69.6% of the roster), which ranks tenth in college football.
